Terms and conditions

Reservations / Bookings

A reservation is confirmed only when full rental payment is received. A booking deposit must be paid
in full on our website 24 hours prior to rental start. Booking is complete only after: booking fee,
security deposit and all required documents are received. Hirer receives Booking Emails with details,
payment schedule and document instructions. Confirmation emails follow upon receipt.

The Hirer and/or Drivers

The Hirer must ensure that all named Driver(s) comply with:

• No lending/hiring to third parties.
• No towing.
• No overloading passengers.
• No carriage of passengers/goods for hire or reward.
• All recovery costs from overseas are Hirer’s responsibility.
• No use for racing, trials, competitions, or on non-metalled/sealed roads, beaches, or in adverse conditions.
• No volatile liquids/gases (except provided LPG), explosives, corrosives.
• No smoking in the vehicle.
• Vehicle must be locked when unattended.
• Drivers must be fit/capable at all times.
• Only named drivers from the Insurance Motor Rental Agreement may drive. NOTE: Driving by unauthorised
  person = full loss of security deposit.

Insurance

Fully comprehensive insurance (including third-party) is provided by Lone Wolf Camper for named drivers only.
Drivers must be 25–70 years, hold full licence for min. 2 years (US/Canada: min. 8 years; EEA: min. 5 years).
Full licence details, endorsements, convictions, accidents must be disclosed.

All drivers must submit: full licence (front/back), recent utility bill/bank statement (proof of address),
and for non-Ireland/UK hirers – passport/ID card. UK drivers need Driver Check Code. Documents required in
advance – without them, hire cannot proceed and cancellation fees apply.

Insurance excess: €1,000 per incident, payable by Hirer regardless of fault (even if third party is liable).
Failure to report accident/damage immediately = full loss of security deposit and possible criminal offence.

Theft not covered if keys left in ignition/unoccupied vehicle – Hirer fully liable for replacement costs.

Not covered: tyres/wheels, radio/stereo/aerials, interior/equipment damage, personal effects, minor damages
under €1,000 with no third-party blame.

Security Deposit

€1,000 security deposit required (payable with booking fee or 1 week prior via bank transfer). Refunded in
full within 3 working days after return, provided:

• No damage (including wheels, tyres, third-party).
• No breakdown/malfunction due to Hirer’s negligence (e.g. not checking oil/water/tyre pressure, driving on
  unsuitable surfaces, leaving warning lights ignored).
• Vehicle returned on time, full tank, clean interior/exterior (including utensils/equipment).
• No pets without prior approval, no traffic violations.
• No unauthorised drivers.

Additional cleaning fees may apply (see Cleaning section). Lone Wolf Camper may increase deposit for events
(festivals, rallies).

Violation of Traffic Laws

Drivers are liable for all penalties. Lone Wolf Camper will notify of fines plus a €25 admin fee per infringement.

Breakdown

Report immediately to Lone Wolf Camper on

Do not engage third-party repairs without our approval – failure may void deposit/refunds.

In case of breakdown not fixable on road: vehicle + occupants towed to nearest suitable garage. Hirer chooses
one free support option:

• Car hire (up to 2 days),
• Overnight accommodation (1 night),
• Up to €100 public transport refund (with receipts).

Replacement camper offered subject to availability. Lone Wolf Camper not liable for any other costs
(travel, accommodation, replacement vehicle beyond above). Liability limited to refund of hire days lost
or similar replacement vehicle.

Accidents

Report immediately on +353 (0) 852-303-433. Do not engage third-party without us.
Follow steps: Garda/PSNI report, third-party details, witnesses, photos, etc.

Damage on our premises after hire start = Hirer’s responsibility.

Cancellation by Lone Wolf Camper

We may cancel if: documents invalid, deposit unpaid, over-occupancy, address mismatch, or any reason
(no explanation required).

Cancellation by Hirer

Advisable to buy holiday cancellation insurance.

• 30+ days before hire: 15% fee. Credit/debit card charges non-refundable.

Availability / Choice of Vehicles

We endeavour to provide the reserved vehicle. If unavailable, we may substitute with a similar vehicle at
no extra cost. If unacceptable or unobtainable, liability is limited to a refund of amounts paid.

Collection & Return

Available 7 days a week. 1 hire day = 24 hours exact.

Late return charges:

• €40 (up to 2 hours) + €10/driver,
• ½ day rate (2–6 hours late),
• Full day rate (over 6 hours) + €10/driver + next hirer costs.

No refund for late collection or early return. Breakdown after leaving premises is not grounds for cancellation – we fix as soon as possible.

Cleaning & Associated Fees

€35 automatic cleaning fee per booking. Additional charges:

• €50 stained upholstery (up to €100 extreme cases).
• €100 very dirty interior.
• €120 smoking breach.
• €5–€20 rubbish disposal.
• €75 after pets.

Force Majeure

Lone Wolf Camper is not liable for delays/cancellations due to force majeure (e.g. floods, strikes, war,
pandemics, extreme weather). No refunds beyond hire days lost.

Complaints

Any issues must be raised within 7 days of return. We aim to resolve all complaints fairly.
